JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the majority of major cities in Indonesia will be covered with clouds and rained on Monday, March 10.

Through the weather forecast broadcast quoted by ANTARA, BMKG forecaster Idhan Abu Bakar explained that the weather in Banda Aceh is predicted to be thick cloudy, Medan City, Padang, and Tanjung Pinang are predicted to rain with light intensity. As for Pekanbaru City, it is predicted that there will be moderate rain.

"Still in Sumatra, Bengkulu City, Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, and Bandar Lampung City, light rain is predicted. Beware of rain that can be accompanied by lightning for Palembang City," he said.

Idhan explained that for the weather forecast in Java, the Jakarta area is predicted to be thick cloudy. As for Serang, Semarang, and Surabaya, it is predicted that light rain will occur. As for the cities of Bandung and Yogyakarta, it is predicted that there will be moderate rain.

Furthermore, in the Bali area and its surroundings, Denpasar and Mataram are predicted to experience light rain. Meanwhile, rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to flush Kupang City.

"In the Kalimantan, Pontianak City, Tanjung Selor, and Samarinda areas, light rain is predicted. For Banjarmasin City, it is predicted that there will be rain with moderate intensity. Beware of rain that can be accompanied by lightning for Palangka Raya City," he said.

In the Sulawesi area, continued Idhan, Kendari City is predicted to be thick cloudy. The cities of Makassar, Gorontalo, and Manado are predicted to experience light rain. Meanwhile, the cities of Mamuju and Palu are predicted to experience moderate rain.

Meanwhile, for the Maluku and Papua regions, Ternate City, Ambon, Manokwari, Jayapura City, it is predicted that light rain will occur. As for the cities of Sorong and Merauke, it is predicted that there will be rain with moderate intensity.
