JAKARTA - Papua KPU commissioner Diana Simbiak admitted that the preparatory stage for the re-voting (PSU) in Nabire and Boven Digoel Districts was constrained by the unavailability of funds.

He said, from the reports received, the budget discussion for the PSU in Nabire Regency was still being discussed between the Regional Government and the DPRD.
Funds proposed for PSU in Nabire amounted to Rp. 21 billion, but after being rationalized it might be approved for Rp. 14 billion.
As for Boven Digoel Regency, it is estimated that Rp. 12 billion has been approved from the proposed Rp. 26 billion, explained Diana.
Diana said there are three districts in Papua that will implement the PSU in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).
The three districts that will implement the PSU, namely Yalimo District, will carry out May 5 in two districts, namely 76 TPS in Welarek District and 76 TPS in Apalapsili District, 30 TPS, explained Diana.
The Papua KPU commissioner added that the PSU in Nabire Regency is scheduled for July 14 and the PSU in Boven Digoel Regency on June 23.
