Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto opened the opportunity to revoke permits issued by the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab), West Java, for two tourist attractions in the Puncakyakni Eiger Adventure Land and Hibisc Fantasy areas.

"Yes, of course we have to evaluate, at the time of observation we determine the policy first, we will follow up. So we want every existing policy, we will support any policies in the central government," said Rudy while accompanying the Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Environment (LH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, and Governor of West Java (Jabar) Dedi Mulyadi when sealing the Eiger Adventure Land located in Megamendung, Thursday, March 6.

Currently, the ranks of the Bogor Regency Government, led by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, are holding an evaluation meeting in Cibinong, to determine the fate of the permits that have been pocketed by the tourist attractions.

"Later on to the Regional Secretary, the results will be yes. He, who chaired the meeting, is still ongoing," said Rudy.

The Eiger Adventure Land tourist spot, which is currently still in the construction process, is known to have obtained a permit from the Bogor Regency Government several years ago.

Meanwhile, Hibisc Fantasy has a permit of around 4,800 square meters. However, in the field, the construction of the tourist area reached 15,000 square meters.

Eiger Adventure Land and Hibisc Fantasy Puncak are two of the four tourist attractions that were sealed because they were indicated to have violated land conversion.

The first locations that were sealed were the Ciliwung Tea Factory in Telaga Saat, Hibisc Fantasy, the PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) I Regional 2 Agro Wisata Gunung Mas, and Eiger Adventure Land buildings.

Responding to the rampant conversion of land functions in Bogor Regency, Rudy Susmanto firmly revoked the authority of the Bogor Regency Government Regional Work Unit (SKPD) in granting permits.

He claims to be more selective in issuing various permits, especially those related to the environment in Bogor Regency.

"I issued a new Regent Regulation (Perbup), we signed it today, namely pulling the entire licensing process back to the regional head. We are withdrawing the permit for the delegation of tasks to each SKPD," said Rudy.

Now the approval of permits, after going through the mechanism in each SKPD with an Electronicly Integrated Business Licensing System (OSS), then the regional head needs approval.

Not only that, but Rudy will also evaluate various permits that have been issued by the Bogor Regency Government.
