Man From Manado Was Stabbed To Death After A Duel In The UKI Cawang Area

JAKARTA - A man died with stab wounds after being involved in a duel with a perpetrator in the UKI Cawang area, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta. This bloody incident allegedly started from a dispute with a misunderstanding.

Based on the information gathered, before the incident, the victim and the perpetrator were involved in an argument that led to a fight.

During the duel, the victim, who was known to have come from Manado, was stabbed by the perpetrator.

"The victim died from stab wounds," said a source to VOI, Wednesday, March 5.

Shortly after the incident, the police from the East Jakarta Metro Police immediately went to the location and secured the perpetrators and a number of witnesses for questioning.

"Everything at the scene was brought by the police for further investigation," he added.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Armunanto, confirmed this incident.

"We are still conducting further investigations. Currently, the victim has been taken to the Police Hospital for an autopsy," said AKBP Armunanto when confirmed, Wednesday, March 5.

Until now, investigators from the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim are still investigating this case to find out the exact motive behind the murder.
