BOGOR - Bogor Regency Government, West Java, opened disaster posts in four regional zones to facilitate coordination of data collection and disaster management.
Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto explained that the four posts were scattered in the west, east, north, and south zones.
Then, the main post is at the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office, Jalan Tegar Beliman, Cibinong.
"The posts are equipped with health facilities, all logistics are there, then data collection in each region all goes there," said Rudy after the disaster coordination meeting of the Bogor Regent's Office, Antara, Tuesday, March 4.
The existence of disaster posts in these four regional zones, makes the need for logistics distribution integrated and recorded one door. Then, the division of disaster zones is also to facilitate the work patterns of disaster management personnel.
"At those four points, for example the incident in Gunungputri, there is no need to withdraw (personnel) from Cisarua, it is a pity that BPBD personnel are also limited in number, they also have limited physical capabilities, so I ask for four posts to be formed," he said.
In addition, Rudy also invited all vertical agencies in Bogor Regency to join the disaster post provided by the Bogor Regency Government.
Rudy emphasized that the disaster emergency response status that he had set on Monday (4/3) needs to be followed up by fully handling disasters.
"So it's not just how to deal with refugees and floods, but how to resolve flooding in each region, while the status is still a disaster emergency response," said Rudy.
