Bukan THR! Ojol Jaksel Bongkar "kebal" Aplikator Yang Membuat Income Merosot!

JAKARTA - When many online motorcycle taxi drivers (Ojol) demanded the holiday allowance (THR) in today's demonstration, Alvian, an Ojol from South Jakarta, complained about other things that were even more detrimental!

It is not the THR that he is concerned about, but the "slot" program or the area where the applicator applies. According to him, this system makes the driver's income plummet drastically, because the working area is limited and the rates received are getting smaller.

For him, the demonstration demanded that the THR be in vain, because the applicator could not grant the request. However, the removal of the slot system is the main hope of Ojol drivers!

"If the THR is not possible. The important thing is to delete the slot! That's what makes us lose," he said.

Please note, thousands of online motorcycle taxis (Ojol) throughout Jabodetabek will hold a demonstration in the Horse Statue area, Monas, Central Jakarta on Thursday, February 27, noon.

In this action, the demonstrators from Ojol carried the theme "AKSI OJOL 272". Meanwhile, the demonstration is scheduled to start at 13.00 WIB.

Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Online Transportation and Services Drivers, Raden Igun Wicaksono, said that the government as an institution that makes regulations regarding online motorcycle taxi rates and discounts on the costs of online motorcycle taxi applications were made powerless by two foreign platform companies that do business and invest in Indonesia.

Raden Igun deeply regrets that the government does not dare and does not have the power to impose strict sanctions on two foreign platforms that have exploited their working partners, both online drivers and online merchants.
