JAKARTA - Preparations have begun at Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis to receive Palestinian prisoners who will be released on Wednesday evening.
The detainees will be released on Wednesday, February 26 evening between 22.00 local and midnight time, reported by Reuters.
Hamas previously agreed with Israel to end the delay in the release of Palestinian prisoners.
The solution is to release Palestinian prisoners along with the bodies of the killed Israeli hostages that have been agreed to be handed over during the first phase, the militant group said.
Hamas said its delegation, led by the head of the group in Gaza, Khalil Al-Hayya, reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement "with all its stages and clauses."
