JAKARTA The masses of the Dark Indonesia demonstration again expressed their aspirations at the Horse Statue, Monas, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 21.

The crowd started arriving at 14.00 WIB. And until now the masses are still in the Horse Statue Area with 9 demands for the government.

Monitoring at the location, the crowd came with banners, posters and other props bearing criticism for the government.

"Just fat bodies, no cabinets. Military spending increases, the people are not protected", the words in the poster brought by the demonstrators.

Despite the rain, the crowd shouted while unfurling banners and posters as well as flags containing aspirations.

It is known that the masses carried out longmars from Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM). The demonstrators came from students and civil society, they merged into one.

The action of Dark Indonesia has taken place simultaneously in Indonesia since Monday, February 17. Today will be the peak of the joint action of students and coalitions of civil society.

There are four main clusters that are the focus of the peak of the Indonesia Dark Action. First, demanding that the government ratify pro-people laws: Bill on Indigenous Peoples, Bill on Asset Confiscation, Bill on the Protection of Domestic Workers.

Second, rejecting anti-people rules, such as the revision of the TNI Law, the National Police Law, the DPR's Rules, the Minerba Law, and the Prosecutor's Law. Third, evaluating budget efficiency policies, fat cabinets, free nutritious eating programs (MBG), problematic national strategic projects (PSN), as well as plans to abolish performance allowances (tukin) lecturers and teachers.

Another demand in the fourth cluster is the cancellation of a series of problematic policies. This includes the pressure to cancel the multifunction of the TNI/Polri, Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025 regarding budget efficiency, the use of the APBN for the Antara, and the development of IKN Nusantara.
