His House Was Searched Once, The KPK Will Call Djan Faridz Regarding Hasto And Harun Masiku Cases

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to summon former Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Djan Faridz after his house was searched by investigators some time ago. He will be questioned regarding the case that ensnared former PDIP candidates who are still at large, Harun Masiku and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

"There are other names mentioned as DF and others, we will ask for information later, we will call here," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Friday, February 21.

Djan, continued Asep, will later be questioned regarding the findings obtained by investigators at home in the South Jakarta area on January 22. "So, of course we will summon the person concerned. We are here to explain this," he said.

Similarly, the Chairman of the KPK, Setyo Budiyanto, said that those who knew about the case that ensnared Harun Masiku and Hasto would be summoned. Investigators need their information.

"Regarding several names for investigation, this must also return to the needs of investigators when it is in accordance with what is suspected, a summons will definitely be made, not even suggesting the possibility of further processes," he said.

Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was officially detained in connection with the bribery case for the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the obstruction of the investigation on Thursday, February 20. He occupied the State Detention Center Branch of the East Jakarta Class I State Detention Center for 20 days and could be extended according to the needs of investigators.

Hasto was charged with Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

As for the bribery case related to PAW, members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), the process will be carried out stimulus. This is because the investigation warrant (sprindik) issued on December 23, 2024, focuses more on the application of Article 21.
