Officially Serving, Bekasi Regent Threatens To Remove Officials Not Fatsun

BEKASI - The elected Bekasi Regent for the period 2025-2030 Ade Kuswara Kunang reminded him that he would remove officials from regional apparatus organizations (OPD) who were proven not to have succeeded in him.

"(Officials) OPD, if not fatsun to the regent, I will replace it, I will transfer and rotate," said Ade after attending a plenary meeting at the Bekasi Regency DPRD Building, quoted by ANTARA Thursday, February 20.

He emphasized that the fatsun that had been decided by him was a mandate from the community so that firm action would be taken for officials who oppose fatsun and society.

"Because what is in the regent's interest is the interests of the people," he said.

He assessed that so far OPD officials have shown good performance, including obedience to regional heads. Ade also guarantees that he will maintain the position of officials if they continue to work optimally to prioritize the needs of the community.

"For example, in working, we can prioritize what is the main task force, keep away from personal interests, we will continue," he said.

He admitted that he would generate regional potentials, advance development, improve community welfare by optimizing development according to the vision and mission of Bekasi Bangkit, Maju and Sejahtera Regencies.

"Based on accurate data-based development planning, building from villages, it involves community participation so that development and programs can be right on target and inclusive," he said.

According to him, the five-year service period is a short time to be able to realize various programs that want to be realized. However, good coordination between ranks and Forkopimda elements is believed to be able to accelerate the realization of the vision and mission.

"That's why I ask all levels of regional apparatus for fatsun, to work sincerely for the community. The head of the service and sub-district head will also accommodate direct aspirations from the community and members of the legislature, all related elements we involve, openly accommodate all the aspirations of the community," he said.
