JAKARTA - Hundreds of students visited the Medan Merdeka Barat Street area, precisely in the Monas Horse Statue area, Gambir, Central Jakarta on Thursday, February 20, 2025. They began arriving at around 16.00 WIB.

The students came with only 4 flags from each student executive body (BEM) on campus.

In addition, they also held several demands banners on the concrete fence at the direction of the State Palace on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat.

From VOI's observation at the location, it can be seen that the remnants of the used tires were burning that graced their actions.

The burning of used tires was carried out in front of the guardrail which was opposite the police barricades.

"There are so many colors of alma mater that come. But we are still waiting for other friends. In the afternoon more and more people come here," said one orator of the demonstration at the location.

"Pak polisi, kami mau menyampaikan aspirasi kami. Selaku kami untuk maju pak Polisi. Pak polisi Anda pikir dengan tembok ini dapat menghambatkan kami? Tidak pak polisi," ujarnya.

In addition, students also voiced student oaths simultaneously in front of the security forces on guard.

Transparency of the status of community development and taxes3. Massive evaluation of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program4. Reject the revision of the Draft Law on the fourth amendment to Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mineries or the Minerba5 Bill. Reject TNI6 dualization. Pass the Asset Confiscation Bill7. Improve the quality of education and health nationally 8. Reject impunity and complete gross human rights violation 9. Reject Jokowi's tweet in the Prabowo government
