JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) believes that the budget allocated to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) can be disbursed immediately.
AHY said President Prabowo Subianto had approved the IKN budget of IDR 48.8 trillion for the 2025'2029 period.
"So, there, of course, we will also coordinate because OIKN (IKN Authority) is also one of our coordinating areas, and thus we hope that in the next 1, 2, 3 years there will be development. There is a continuation of development, and progress that we can follow together," said Coordinating Minister AHY during a press conference at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18, reported by ANTARA.
Regarding information on the IKN budget that was blocked this year, Coordinating Minister AHY said he would sit down with related officials, including Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
"We will finish this, we will sit down together, what is clear is that my understanding there has been approved, and we just need to convince you once again for the disbursement so that it can not interfere or not hinder its progress," said AHY.
