Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Johanis Tanak assessed that the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto should still fulfill the investigators' summons today, Monday, February 17.
This was conveyed by Johanis when asked about Hasto's absence because he was filing a pretrial lawsuit for the second time at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).
The process should not hinder the examination that has been scheduled by investigators.
"According to legal provisions, pretrial does not hinder the examination process unless there is a prepid judge who states that the examination of the requested case is postponed until a decision is made," Johanis told reporters in a written statement, Monday, February 17.
"Ideally as a good citizen, he came to attend the investigators' summons," he continued.
Previously reported, the KPK examined the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto as a suspect in the bribery case for the interim replacement management (PAW) for members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation on Monday, February 17. This is the second request for information.
However, Hasto decided not to attend. His legal team asked for a postponement because the second pretrial submission had been made to the South Jakarta District Court (PN).

Ronny said the pretrial filing for the second time had been carried out on Friday last week. This step was taken after the first lawsuit of Hasto's camp was not accepted by the sole judge on Thursday, February 13.
