Prabowo In 17th Anniversary Of The Gerindra Party: We Must Want To Be Criticized But Don't Revenge The Right One

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Gerindra Party who is also the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto asked all his staff to receive criticism from anywhere, including those outside the government. However, what is conveyed must be facts, not based on revenge.

This was conveyed by Prabowo in his political speech in his 17th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party which was held in Sentul, West Java today, Saturday, February 15. Prabowo initially spoke in democracy that there should be no hostility with political opponents.

"No political opponents exist are friends in arms and we compete but in the end serve, serve the country, nation, and people of Indonesia," said Prabowo, who received a boisterous applause from his cadres.

Prabowo said not all parties should enter the government. "Maybe they are outside, meaning they are helping us," he said.

Helping, continued Prabowo, can be done by making corrections. "They will monitor us, we must be monitored," he said.

"We must want to be corrected, we must want to be criticized," continued the former Minister of Defense.

However, Prabowo reminded that criticism should not be arbitrary.

"But the criticism is correct. Don't criticize based on revenge," he said.

"That's right?" he asked.

"That's right!" cheered the cadres present.
