Mardiono Asks For Prayer And Kiai Support Regarding The Prabowo-Gibran Government Work Program

JAKARTA - Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhamad Mardiono asked for prayers and support related to the work program run by the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

This was conveyed in front of the kiai, habib, and cadres who attended the remembrance and prayer event for PPP, at the residence of KH Maimoen Zubair who is also the Al-Anwar 1 Karangmangu Islamic Boarding School, Sarang, Rembang, Central Java.

"Because I am currently asked to be part of the Prabowo-Gibran government cabinet, I ask for prayers and support to support all work programs that favor the people," said Muhamad Mardiono in his remarks, Wednesday (12/2/2025).

In addition, Muhamad Mardiono hopes that through the activities attended by the ulama and habib, all the prayers and celebrations offered by Allah SWT will be answered.

"I hope that the prayers offered will smooth the journey of the congress which will also be held by PPP. So that PPP will start its political career to welcome the 2029 election even better," he explained.

Meanwhile, KH Abdullah Ubab Maimoen explained that this activity basically includes worship. Where according to him, worship is something that is in line with PPP's steps.

"This is a prayer and remembrance event. Where the prayer is a worship, this PPP wants all worship steps according to the teachings of the Prophet SAW," said KH Abdullah Ubab.

This activity was very lively which started with a convoy and was attended by many PPP cadres and sympathizers. Also present and hosting were the youngest child of KH Maimoen Zubair, namely Kiai Idror Maimoen (Gus Idror), then the PPP DPP ranks, representatives of the PPP DPW, leaders of the PPP DPP assembly, DPC throughout Central Java and East Java, and others.
