Erdogan Gives Prabowo A TOGG Electric Car

JAKARTA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan handed over a unit of Togg T10X electric car to the Indonesian government received by President Prabowo Subianto as a symbol of the friendship between the two countries for 75 years.

Based on an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat received in Jakarta, Wednesday, President Erdogan symbolically handed over the Turkey's first national electric car during his state visit to the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Wednesday, February 12.

The handover of the electric car was carried out ahead of the state lunch.

President Erdogan introduced Togg T10X to President Prabowo with a glimpse into this Turkish electric vehicle. President Prabowo also seemed to smile and welcomed the gift of this white electric vehicle from the Turkish government.

As reported by ANTARA, President Prabowo even immediately tested the car by sitting in the steering seat on the left side.

After that, the two leaders smiled at each other and believed that this gift could be one of the steps to strengthen cooperative relations between Indonesia and Turkey.

Togg T10X is an electric vehicle developed by Turkey 'nin Otomobile Girisim Grubu (Togg), a national automotive company from Turkey.

This vehicle is equipped with a smart device connected to the Togg mobility ecosystem, including a battery range of up to 523 km.

The submission of the T10X Togg reflects the close friendship between Indonesia-Turkey and mutual respect between the two leaders of the country.

The warm and close gestures shown at the moment of the handover confirmed good relations between President Prabowo and President Erdogan were not only diplomatic, but also personal.
