Chronology Of Arak Ginseng Alcohol Party Ends 4 Bogor Residents Died

BOGOR - Again, the alcohol party ended in death, after eight residents died as a result of a drinking party, now it is the turn of 4 residents in Tegallega Village RT 03/04, Bogor City to die as a result of drinking liquor mixed with ginseng wine (aseng) and packaged drinks.

The four residents who died were all adult men after participating in an alcohol party at a motorcycle washing shop in Tegallega Village on Saturday, February 9 yesterday. The four residents who died each had the initials I (63), H (46), Y (36) and R (68).

In addition to the four deaths, four other residents also suffered from illness and one other resident is now in critical condition. Meanwhile, another resident who is currently in critical condition with the initials A, the victim is currently undergoing intensive treatment at PMI Hospital in Bogor City.

Central Bogor sub-district head Theo revealed that initially his party did not know about the action of the alcohol party which led to the disaster. However, he was surprised by the large number of residents who died on Sunday afternoon.

"At first we didn't know anything. It's just that there was one who died in our area. Then in my RT there were two, the RT next door was also there," said Theo.

After being traced, it turned out that the dead victims were residents who took part in the alcohol party one day earlier.

"Last night I didn't know, I said Saturday night on the steam of the motorbike. In the morning I saw that it was still a normal activity, but in the evening it was already sick, all short of breath. Vomiting and traveling," continued Theo.

Meanwhile, the City Police Criminal Investigation Unit officers together with the Central Bogor Police were immediately dispatched to investigate the alcohol party that led to the disaster.

Head of the Bogor City Police Satreskrim AKP Aji Riznaldi revealed that the victims previously participated in an alcohol party at a motorcycle washing shop as well as a bird shop in Tegallega Village. They mixed with packaged drinks that increase stamina and coconut water.

From the search at the scene, the police found the remaining packs of these types of drinks.

"At the location we found 10 packs of aseng-type drinks. We are still examining the traders and we are still examining witnesses," said Aji regarding the alcohol party in Bogor that killed the four people.
