The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has examined 44 witnesses in the handling of the alleged deed forgery case related to the sea fence in Tangerang. From the series of investigations, it was found that the forgery incident had been carried out since 2021 until now.

"Until now, we have carried out examinations of 44 witnesses. From this examination, we have received the forgery incident since 2021 until now in Kohod village, Pakuhaji sub-district, Tangerang Regency," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Monday, February 10.

The deed forgery was allegedly carried out by the village head (Kades) of Kohod, Arsin. In fact, in the forgery action, there were other parties involved.

"Of the 44 witnesses beside the villagers, we also summoned from the relevant ministries or agencies, including our experts, we have examined them," said Djuhandani.

Previously, Bareskrim Polri decided to raise the status of the alleged forgery of letters or authentic deeds related to the sea fence in Tangerang waters to the investigation stage. Because, from the results of the case title found elements of criminal violations.
