JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi stated that two priority programs, namely Free Nutrition Food (MBG) and Free Health Checks (CKG) are President Prabowo Subianto's commitment to strengthening human resources towards Indonesia Emas 2045.

Hasan said President Prabowo was very focused on strengthening human resources, so that apart from the MBG that had been running since January, now the CKG Program has officially started simultaneously so that it can be utilized by people throughout Indonesia.

"We are heading to Indonesia Gold. Indonesia Gold is not only the age, but also gold in quality. Education must be good, health must also be good, so that later productivity will be good," Hasan Hasbi said after checking the implementation of CKG at the Waanakerta Health Center, West Telukjambe District, Karawang Regency, West Java, Monday, February 10, was confiscated by Antara.

Hasan explained that the two programs, namely MBG and CKG, aim to meet the nutritional needs of children and pregnant women, and make the public aware of the importance of maintaining health by early detection.

Meanwhile, CKG is the government's commitment to providing health services that allows the Indonesian people without exception to access good health services for free.

"Entering the 80th anniversary of Indonesia's independence, we are witnessing an extraordinary transformation in the health sector. This program (CKG) strengthens the health service system in Indonesia, making it equal to other developed countries in providing equal health services for all its citizens," Hasan said.

In his review of the puskesmas, Hasan appreciated the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) and the ranks at the puskesmas who provided convenience because of the flow of services to participants, from registration, independent screening, to examination running smoothly.

In addition to an already-organized system, the public can monitor medical history through mobile phones through the One Sehat Mobile application.

One of the residents of Wanasari, Yaya Suhara (56), said that the CKG Program really helps the community, especially those who can't afford it. "So far, I don't dare to check health, because I'm afraid to pay. But with this program, it's more free," said Yaya.

Yaya, who will go for Hajj this year, admitted that she had no complaints and was declared healthy, based on the results of the CKG being carried out. However, by joining CKG, he can be more concerned with his health condition ahead of his departure to the Holy Land.

The government allocates a budget of IDR 4.7 trillion to realize the CKG Program. CKG is carried out based on the people's life cycle, with a main focus on three implementation moments, namely CKG birthday, CKG school, and CKG specifically for pregnant women and toddlers.

CKG's birthday starts today for children aged 0-6 years and people aged 18 years and over. The public can get this CKG service within a period of time starting from the birthday to the next 30 days at the puskesmas and later it can be accessed at a clinic that has collaborated with BPJS Kesehatan.

Meanwhile, the school CKG will be held starting July 2025, which coincides with the new school year. This examination targets children aged 7-17 years in schools. CKG is specifically intended for pregnant women and toddlers with inspection locations at health centers and posyandu.
