JAKARTA - Chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY) Amzulian Rifai said that his party was also affected by the budget efficiency decided by the government. As a result, Amzulian revealed, the allocation of salaries for Yudisial Commission employees is only enough until October 2025.

"We were asked to do efficiency, yes, everything. Because with the existing budget, the daily operations are a bit disrupted. Especially in order to carry out the main tasks and functions. Because KY is also not enough, because the salaries of employees are only enough until October, yes," said Amzulian at the parliament complex. , Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, February 10.

In fact, continued Amzulian, his party had to buy its own fuel oil (BBM) for official vehicles. Nevertheless, he said that the Judicial Commission still obeyed the applicable rules.

"KY is in a position to follow what is the state policy. I received news earlier, our fuel will start buying its own next month. Our vehicle," he said.

Amzulian explained that the budget obtained by the Judicial Commission (KY) in 2025 was Rp. 184 billion and had to be subject to efficiency reaching 54 percent. Of course, he said, it would greatly affect the performance of KY, including the matter of judge selection.

"Yes, 54 percent is from Rp. 184 (billion, ed). Yes, there is nothing more. If you cut it from it, it might still be big. It's cut small. Yes, that's it," said Amzulian.

Amzulian hopes that there will be improvements in this efficiency. He also admitted that he had communicated with the Minister of Finance and was scheduled to meet Sri Mulyani next week.

"The solution is that if our only budget of Rp. 184 billion is returned, yes, we are normal, of course. But we are aware that this is a state policy that we also cannot, I am sure that all Ministries and Institutions are in the same position, we will implement it. In accordance with state policy of course. Because we are part of this country, "he concluded.
