JAKARTA - The board of directors of BPJS Kesehatan paid a visit to the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday, April 20. This visit also signed the MoU between BPJS Kesehatan and the Police.

The National Police Chief welcomed the implementation of the MoU which was a continuation. According to him, with the accident data updating, health services will be much better.

"With the new program in the police, road users' community services will be improved with the hope of speeding up services and not being convoluted," said National Police Chief Listyo Sigit, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 20.

In the future, said the Chief of Police, his party will develop a standard hospital that is focused on members who are sick in order to provide optimal service.

"The condition of members who are sick should be covered by BPJS, and think about members who are far away and need speed to save lives, please think about it technically," he said.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of BPJS Kesehatan Ali Gufron Mukti said that his arrival with the ranks was to strengthen the coordination and cooperation that had been built between BPJS Kesehatan and the Police. One of them is about updating accident data.

"Updating the Polri data and exchanging payment of accident data information," said Ali.

According to him, data exchange has now been carried out electronically, especially during a pandemic. BPJS, said Ali, has also developed fingerprints and facial recognition.

In addition to discussing the updating of accident data, he hopes that Korlantas officials can ask SIM makers whether they already have a BPJS or not.

Services to members of the National Police will also be improved, where if there are Polri members who are in an emergency, they can be immediately covered. "There are members of the National Police who are in a state of emergency, they can be covered, if the Police Hospital is better," he said.
