Here's How The Fake KPK Officers Work To Ex-Based The Regent Of Rote Ndao

Central Jakarta Metro Police (Jakpus) revealed three roles of fake Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employees who allegedly intend to blackmail former Rote Ndao Regent for the 2009-2014 and 2014-2019 periods Leonard Haning.

"The three perpetrators with the initials AA, JFH, and FFF have their respective roles," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, Friday, February 7.

Suspect AA (40) played a role in creating the "WhatsApp" application account on behalf of KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto to carry out his actions.

In addition, AA also made a fake investigation warrant (sprindik) ordering an investigation into the former Regent of Rote Ndao on suspicion of a corruption case. AA also made a summons from the KPK.

Not only that, but AA said Firdaus also convinced the victim by showing a screenshot of the order from the KPK chairman not to proceed with the case of former Regent Rote Ndao.

"Meanwhile, JFH acts as a KPK investigator who meets the envoy from former Rote Ndao Regent Leonard Haning," he said.

In addition to the two suspects, the Central Jakarta Metro Police also arrested another suspect with the initials FFF who is an ASN at the Forestry Service of East Nusa Tenggara Province.

According to him, the role of FFF is to prepare several documents related to corruption committed by former Regent Rote Ndao, in the form of Silpa funds with state losses of Rp. 20 billion.

"The three of them aim to benefit from the criminal act of counterfeiting the KPK's sprindik," he said.

Previously, the Central Jakarta Metro Police (Jakpus) arrested three fake KPK employees at a hotel suspected of blackmailing former Rote Ndao Regent for the 2009-2014 and 2014-2019 periods Leonard Haning.

The three perpetrators had the initials AA, JFH, and FFF. The three were secured in the first two different locations, namely AA and JFH, were secured at the Golden Boutique Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/2) at around 18.00 WIB.

As for the FFF perpetrators, said Firdaus, he was secured at the Oasis Amir Senen Hotel, Central Jakarta.

According to him, the three perpetrators disguised themselves as members of the KPK and intended to extort the former Regent of Rote Ndao, East Nusa Tenggara.

As a result of his actions, the third was subject to Article 51 paragraph (1) Jo. Article 35 of Law No. 1 of 2024 concerning amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning electronic information with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 12 years in prison.
