Metro Police Propam Holds KKEP Session AKBP Bintoro Et Al Today

JAKARTA - The Profession and Security Division (Propam) of the Polda Metro Jaya will hold a trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) for alleged violators of AKBP Bintoro and four others, today. They are known to have abused their authority related to the extortion of Prodia's son.

"Bidpropam Polda Metro Jaya will hold a code of ethics trial against alleged violators on Friday, February 7, 2025," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi as quoted on Friday, February 7.

Apart from AKBP Bintoro, four other police officers who will be tried internally, namely the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung; former Head of Resmob Satreskrim South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Ahmad Zakaria; former Head of PPA Sat Reskrim South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Mariana; and Head of Subunit Resmob South Jakarta Metro Police with the initials ND.

The plan is that the KKEP trial of the five alleged violators will be held at 09.00 WIB.

The National Police Commission (Kompolnas), which is the external supervisor of the National Police, was also involved in attending the KKEP trial process in person.

"Yes, this morning we will immediately come to carry out monitoring," said Kompolnas member Mohammad Choirul Anam.

AKBP Bintoro is suspected of extorting two suspects in the murder case, namely Arif Nugroho (AN) alias Bastian 'son of the owner of the Prodia laboratory clinic network and Muhammad Bayu Hartanto. The value of extortion reached Rp20 billion.

The extortion worth Rp20 billion consists of Rp5 billion in cash and Rp1.6 billion which is claimed to be transferred in three stages.
