Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto Review Food Security Pools Of The North Kalimantan Police

TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan Police Chief (Kaltara), Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto inspected the food security pool in the Kaltara Police area.

This activity is a tangible manifestation of the Kaltara Police's commitment to supporting President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita program, one of the strengthening national food security.

Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto appreciated the progress achieved in managing catfish ponds on an area of 2 hectares (ha).

"There were 15,000 catfish seeds sprinkled on Friday, November 15, 2024. During monitoring, catfish growth showed very good development," said the Kaltara Police Chief, Thursday, February 6.

Kapolda Hary revealed that this program is not only intended to meet internal food needs for Polda Kaltara personnel, but will also provide benefits for local residents.

"This food security is part of a joint effort to maintain food availability in the community. The harvests can later be distributed both for the needs of personnel and the surrounding community who need it," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief of Police said that this food security pool is expected to be an example for all levels of the Polres and Polsek in the jurisdiction of the Kaltara Police to participate in a similar program. This success is also clear evidence of the synergy between various internal elements of the Kaltara Police in carrying out the president's directives.

In addition to spreading catfish seeds, the Kaltara Police also continue to carry out intensive supervision of pool management, such as providing quality feed, monitoring of water quality, and optimal pool environmental management.

With good care, it is certain that the next catfish harvest can provide maximum results.

"We are optimistic that with a consistent pattern of care, the harvest will be abundant and able to have a positive impact on the food security program in this region," said Karolog Polda Kaltara.
