The Family Of The Victim Of The Murder Of The Son Of The Prodia Boss Admitted That He Received Rp300 Million To Withdraw The Report

JAKARTA Radiman, the father of the victim of a murder case involving the son of the Prodia boss, admitted that he had received peace money from the suspect, Arif Nugroho, the son of the Prodia boss. The amount he received reached Rp. 300 million.

"The peace money is 300 million. (Yang)warns the suspect (boss Prodia). From his lawyer's side," Rudiman told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, February 4.

Radiman also explained that when the agreement occurred, the suspect's family asked that the case against Arif Nugroho be resolved amicably.

"It means that we are just family. As a family, we have agreed. Yes, that's the money is done. Yes (the suspect) asked for the report to be withdrawn," he said.

The attorney for the victim's family, FA, explained that when he received Rp. 300 million from the suspect, his client was asked to sign two peace letters and withdraw the report.

"The report, so when you receive the money, you have to sign two. One peace letter, the second is a letter of revocation of the report. Well, like it or not, because the money was received, the two letters were signed," he said.

Despite agreeing on peace, Toni continued, the case could not be withdrawn. Because the offense is not a complaint. So the report cannot be withdrawn.

If it's from the police, go ahead with it both parties, that peace. Only the police conveyed that this is an ordinary offense. This means that despite peace, this case continues. So where are the benefits of peace, maybe it will be relaxed, there may be relief in court decisions, judges, right, "he said.

Regarding the suspect's lawyer who allegedly issued up to Rp17 billion, Toni admitted that he did not know more.

"That's why it's related to the issue of extortion until this Rp17.1 billion comes out, I don't know if the first lawyer promised to be free, so when a lot of money comes out he doesn't accept it, then talk," he said.

"Or have you been told that this cannot be free, continue, then the suspect does not understand," he continued.

As previously known, the murder case of a woman with the initials FA has resurfaced after the alleged extortion of members of the National Police against the son of Prodia's boss.

The police officers questioned by Propam Polda Metro Jaya are two former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Gogo Galesung, AKBP Bintoro.

Then, the former Head of Subunit and Head of Resmob South Jakarta Metro Police with the initials Z and ND, as well as the former Head of PPA of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKP Mariana.
