Breaks Up The Fight, The Police In Binjai North Sumatra Stabbed By Neighbors

MEDAN - A member of the Langkat Police, North Sumatra Police, Bripka Ade Prayoga, was hacked by his neighbor, Rico Supanji (31).

The stabbing took place on Sunday, April 18 at Lieutenant Umar Baki Street, Gang Idaman, Suka Ramai Village, West Binjai District, Binjai City.

Head of Public Relations of the Binjai Police, AKP Siswanto Ginting said the incident started when the perpetrator was about to redeem his pawned cell phone to the victim's family.

"It's due, so the culprit wants to make amends but it doesn't match. The money is IDR 70 thousand from IDR 120 thousand. So it is noisy arguing", said Siswanto, Tuesday, April 20.

Hearing the fight, the victim came and tried to calm the argument between the two.

"The perpetrator left the location, but after a while came back with a sharp weapon of the type of kelewang and immediately slashed the victim who was sitting", continued Siswanto.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered slashing wounds on his right arm and back.

"The perpetrator was secured by a patrol officer from the Binjai Police, passing at the location that immediately secured the suspect along with the evidence of the machete used to hack the victim. Currently it is secured at the Binjai Barat Police", he explained.

"The victim was immediately taken to the North Sumatra Regional Police Bhayangkara Hospital for medical treatment. Currently the victim is recovering", said Siswanto.
