KSAL Visits BrahMos Missile Company In India

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali paid a visit to the BrahMos Missile manufacturer in India while attending an invitation to the Indian Republic Day Parade, Sunday (26/1).

Head of the Naval Information Service (Kadispenal) First Admiral I Made Wira Hady Arsanta Wardhana when confirmed said that the visit was to strengthen bilateral and military relations between Indonesia and India.

"This visit also coincides with the 75th anniversary of Indonesia-India bilateral relations. This is one of the strong reasons for choosing the President of the Republic of Indonesia as the main guest," said Wira as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 27.

In addition, this visit is also expected as a momentum to strengthen cooperation in the military sector.

During his visit, Wira said that KSAL did not only visit the BrahMos Missile manufacturer, but the Weapon and Electronic System Engineering Establishment (WESEE) in New Delhi.

The visit was then continued to the Information Fusion Center-India Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) which is a regional maritime security center organized by the Indian Navy.

With this visit, Wira hopes that bilateral relations between Indonesia and India will be closer.

He also hopes that in the future Indonesia and India can work together in the military field to strengthen the defense forces of each country.
