The natural tourism of DeLoano Glamping, which is located on the border of Purworejo (Central Java) with Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, has now been promoted by Deputy Minister of Tourism (Wamenpar) Ni Luh Puspa.

Wamenpar invites tourists to enjoy natural tourism that provides a different experience as well as the deep impression of the tourist attraction.

Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa in his statement received in Kulon Progo, Sunday, said that one of his presence in the destination was to ensure that the infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure, as well as tourist attractions presented at DeLoano Glamping were able to provide comfort as well as a deep impression for tourists.

"I feel the experience of spending time in DeLoano Glamping which is so beautiful and cool surrounded by towering pine trees and always shrouded in fog. I don't think it's wrong to enjoy this weekend at DeLoano Glamping," said Wamenpar, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, January 26.

According to Wamenpar, in addition to ambience and tourist attractions such as biradwatching, painting ball and spa, the presence of traditional cultural arts performances also complements DeLoano Glamping's appeal.

Wamenpar Ni Luh on that occasion also suggested to the Borobudur Authority (BPOB) as the destination manager, to embrace a number of communities or cultural groups, especially in tourist villages, so that each week it appears alternately at DeLoano Glamping.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa saw other collaboration opportunities. While heading to DeLoano, Wamenpar passed through two tourist villages located in the Borobudur authority zone, namely Tinalah Tourism Village and Ngargosari Tourism Village. These two tourist villages received the title of the top 50 Tourism Village Awards (ADWI) in 2021 and 2022.

"This geographical curve is an opportunity to design a travel pattern that is packaged into tour packages," he said.

Managing Director of the Borobudur Authority, Agustin Warinangin, added that currently the Ministry of Public Works is building road access as far as 1 kilometer from 3.2 kilometers outside the area to support accessibility in the area.

Apart from roads, Agustin hopes that there will also be support in the form of water resources. This year, BPOB will immediately prepare a technical detail plan.

"We hope that after returning from here, Mrs. Wamenpar will follow up and meet directly with the Deputy Minister of Public Works (PU) for coordination and synchronization of the PU Ministry's support programs such as basic infrastructure and accessibility towards the authority zone," said Agustin.

In addition to improving basic infrastructure in the Borobudur authority zone area, the implementation of activities has also been scheduled by BPOB in 2025, one of which is the Biosphere in October 2025 which is targeted to be followed by 1,500 trail run runners.

Referring to statistics in 2023, Agustin said that around 70 percent of Biospheric participants were dominated by people outside Yogyakarta and Central Java such as West Java, East Java and Jakarta.

"This is an indication that they must stay as tourists. This certainly has an impact on the surrounding tourist villages in the form of filling the homestay amenities built by the community. So it is not only useful for us but has an influence on the area," he concluded.
