The Mother-Emak Duo In Bogor Was Awarded After Failing The Theft Of The LPG Cylinder

BOGOR- The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, gave awards to two tough women, Ani and Ishitati, residents of Kuripan Village, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency. Both of them managed to thwart the theft of LPG cylinders. Their courage became a hot topic of conversation on social media and reaped appreciation from various parties.

The Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, explained that the award was given to inspire other people to be more concerned and dare to maintain the security of their respective environments.

"I ordered the sub-district head to give an award, meaning that residents should be vigilant and dare to maintain the security of their environment," said Ajat in his statement in Cibinong, Saturday, January 25.

The Acting Head of Ciseeng Sub-district, Didin Wahidin, explained that the award was given in the form of a charter as well as "kadeudeuh" money to assist the process of treating the wounds experienced by Ani and Isotami while trying to prevent theft.

"The award is in the form of a charter and cadeudeuh for the treatment of wounds on the hands and the sprain," said Didin after handing over the award with the local police chief and Danramil.

The heroic incident occurred on Thursday, January 23 at around 13.10 WIB in Cihowe Village, Kuripan Village, Ciseeng District. Ani and Isothi's bold action began when they caught a man trying to steal an LPG gas cylinder. Without hesitation, the two of them confronted the perpetrators until there was a tug of war.

Even though they were injured, their courage succeeded in making the perpetrators surrender and were finally secured by local residents. This incident immediately went viral on Instagram social media, where netizens praised the courage of the duo mothers.

Ajat Rochmat Jatnika emphasized that Ani and Is's actions were a clear example of the community's courage in maintaining environmental security. He hopes that this award can motivate other residents to be more vigilant and active in maintaining security in their respective regions.

"Their spirit is exemplary. If people have this kind of awareness and courage, environmental security will be guaranteed," said Ajat.
