JAKARTA - Members of the European Parliament (MEP) from Denmark were furious at US President Donald Trump amid his efforts to fight Greenland.

MEP Anders Vistisen, a right-handed member of the Danish People's Party, discussed Trump's efforts at the European Union session in Strasburg, France.

The honorable President of Trump, listen carefully, Greenland has been part of the Danish empire for 800 years. This is an integrated part of our country. Greenland is not for sale," said Vistisen as quoted by FOX News, Thursday, January 23.

Vistisen in his statement stressed that he spoke with words Trump might understand.

"Mister Trump, f**ck off," said Vistisen.

The statement received an official warning from the Vice President of the European Parliament Nicolae Stefanuta.

"If the translation is correct, the terms you use are not allowed in this parliament, and there will be consequences for the words you use," said Stefanuta, who represented Romania.

"This is not good in the Democracy Council. Regardless of what we think about Trump, it is impossible to use such a language," continued Stefanuta.

The first son of Donald Trump Jr. led a small delegation to Nuuk the capital of Greenland before the inauguration and meeting with members of the community and reportedly holding lunch.

Greenland Prime Minister Mute Egede and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the land was not for sale.

But the US still maintains the presence of the US Space Force in Greenland at the Pituffik Air Base (previously Thule) near Savissivik.

More than 100 years ago, the US managed to buy Danish land from Copenhagen.
