Village Fund Corruption Case Of IDR 4.6 Billion In Supiori Papua Rises Investigation

JAKARTA - The police have raised the status of investigating the alleged corruption of village funds in Kampung Ineki, Supiori Regency, Papua amounting to Rp4.6 billion. The Supiori Police have issued a notification letter starting the investigation (SPDP) regarding this matter to the Biak District Attorney (Kejari).

"The Prosecutor's Office has received an SPDP from the Supiori Police regarding the investigation into the alleged corruption of village funds in Ineki Village," said Head of the Biak Kejari Hanung Widyatmaka when confirmed, Thursday, January 23, confiscated by Antara.

Hanung hopes that the alleged corruption case of village funds in Kampung Ineki will soon be tried at the Jayapura Corruption Court.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Supiori Police, Ipda Daniel Zeth Rumpaidus, revealed that his party had carried out an exposure to the alleged corruption case in the management of village funds in Kampung Ineki as an implementation of the 100 Hari Astacita program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.

Based on the audit report on the calculation of state financial losses (PKKN) from the internal government supervisory apparatus (APIP), he stated that the total budget for 2022 and 2023 was IDR 4,667,595,783.00 with state financial losses of IDR 1,107 530,345.00.

"The alleged corruption case of village funds in Kampung Ineki has gone up to the investigation level. We have examined 20 witnesses," he said.

From the results of the examination, he continued, the unlawful act of the Head of Ineki Village, including not involving the village officials and not being transparent regarding the total village budget and honorarium for activities.

"The evidence of an act against the third law is that all disbursements are carried out alone once without inviting the authorities and the four financial transactions are carried out at home, even village heads are rarely in the village," he said.

Kasatreskrim Ipda Daniel promised to speed up the transfer of corruption case files in the alleged corruption case of village funds in Kampung Ineki to the Biak District Attorney.

The Supiori Police Satreskrim handled the prosecution of three cases of alleged corruption in village funds in three villages of Supiori Regency.

The three cases of village funds in Supiori Regency, namely Puweri Village with the suspect Donald Marthen Yeninar with a state loss of Rp. 434 million whose case is being tried by the Jayapura Corruption Court.

Second, the corruption case of village funds in Ineki Village was upgraded to the status of investigation, and the three corruption crimes in Kampung Warsa with state losses of more than Rp. 1 billion.
