Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs Has Marked A Company That Is Suspected Of Being A Lawsuit

Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Budi Gunawan said the government had marked a company suspected of violating regulations, especially provisions regarding land and forests.

"Yes," said the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs when answering reporters' questions about whether or not companies were included in the government's surveillance radar, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 22.

Related to that, Budi explained that currently the government is still reviewing and exploring the growing allegations.

"Investigation and maturation are being carried out," said Budi Gunawan briefly without explaining the details along with the names of companies being monitored by the government.

President Prabowo Subianto in a cabinet meeting ordered the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office to take firm action against companies that violate the law, including those who violate land and forest provisions.

The President also warned that the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet should not receive special treatment for employers and companies.

"Our provisions must be obeyed. No one has special treatment," President Prabowo told ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of institutions during a cabinet meeting.

The president then warned companies that were still absent from their obligations, despite providing opportunities, they would be subject to sanctions.

"The government will revoke the permit and regain the lands, especially since the land is a protected forest and so on. So, this is also a step that we will take," said the President.
