President Prabowo Warns Officials Are Prohibited From Specializing Entrepreneurs In The Eyes Of The Law

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto warned law enforcement officials not to make entrepreneurs as special as before the law so as to get special treatment.

The head of state ordered the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office to take firm action against companies that violate the law, including those who violate land and forest provisions.

"Our provisions must be obeyed. No one has special treatment," said President Prabowo while giving directions to his staff at the Plenary Cabinet Session at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22, which was confiscated by Antara.

On that occasion, the President warned companies that were still absent from their obligations, despite providing opportunities, they would be subject to sanctions.

"The government will revoke the permits and regain the lands, especially since the land is a protected forest and so on. So, this is also a step that we will take," President Prabowo told the ranks of ministers and leaders of law enforcement officials.

The plenary cabinet session took place at around 15.00 WIB at the Presidential Office, Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta.

In the event, the President chaired the session accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

In the courtroom, most of the ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet were present, there were also Attorney General S.T. Burhanuddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Head of BIN M. Herindra, and Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak who were present representing the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.

The President started the trial by praising the performance of his staff, then continued with directions for the work of the government in the future.

"We also prove that our government is effective, our government can carry out state administration reliably," Prabowo said praising the performance of his staff.

Today's plenary cabinet session lasted openly for about 30 minutes, then the President invited journalists covering the event to leave the room.

The President said that the directives that would be delivered to the ranks of ministers and deputy ministers could not yet become public consumption.

"I think there is quite a lot of material, yes, now I will convey things you don't need to hear. I think this media is still young. There are things that parents talk about young people, children usually wait outside," the President told reporters covering the cabinet meeting.
