Police Hospital Explains 2 Janazah Victims Of Glodok Plaza Fire Are Young Women

JAKARTA - The Kramat Jati Police Hospital managed to describe the bodies of 2 victims of the Glodok Plaza fire who were young adult women, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

"We can only determine and describe that it is a young adult woman. From the ante mortem data, all the women who reported it to us are young adults. So we can't who this is," said Yandokpol Head of Police Hospital, Kombes Hery Wijatmoko.

According to Hery, his party only describes it. Because if anthropology is high, weight, it is no longer possible.

"So we are still waiting for data from the aviation health center for dental data that we can get from the victim," he said.

However, until now, the National Police Hospital has not received a response from the letter that has been sent to the aviation health center.

"Not yet, we'll just have to wait. We are also waiting for more body parts to be found at the crime scene," he said.

Previously, it was reported that exactly one week after the fire case at Glodok Plaza Mall, Tamansari, West Jakarta, the search for fire victims continued on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The fire incident occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

"Currently, the majority of the building managers have gone down (to the location of the fire). Because they are cleaning, this is being tidied up by the building manager to make it easier for us to look for casualties," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Mohamad Yohan to VOI.

Yohan said joint officers encountered problems finding victims of fires on the 7th and 8th floors of the Glodok Plaza building because there were still many ruins of the search area.

"Our obstacle is in search because the location is messy, this is being tidied up by the building manager to make it easier," he said.
