Searching The BP2J KNTT Office, The Attorney General's Office Confiscates Documents Of Alleged Corruption In School Rehabilitation In Kupang

East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (NTT) searched the NTT Construction Services Procurement Center (BP2JK) office on Jalan WJ Lalamentik No. 20, Oebobo, Kupang City, Tuesday, January 21.

Head of the Legal Information Section of the NTT Prosecutor's Office, AA Raka Putra Dharmani, said that from the search, investigators confiscated a number of important documents related to the alleged corruption of the school rehabilitation project in Kupang for the 2021 Fiscal Year.

"The investigative team has conducted searches and confiscations in four different locations in Kupang City, and North Central Timor Regency (TTU)," he said in Kupang, NTT, Tuesday, January 21, which was confiscated by Antara.

In addition to the NTT BP2JK Office, the investigative team also searched HN's house as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) in Namosain Village, Alak District and the office owned by PT. MBS Kso PT. KAD in Kelapa Lima Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City.

In addition, searches were also carried out at HS's house in Kefamenanu Selatan Village, Kefamenanu District, North Central Timor Regency.

"There are four investigative teams from the Special Crimes Division of the NTT Prosecutor's Office," he said.

He explained that the search and confiscation at the four locations were carried out in a very necessary and urgent condition with the aim of finding sufficient preliminary evidence to clarify the alleged crime.

With the evidence obtained, investigators will be able to determine the suspect responsible for alleged irregularities in the alleged corruption case of irregularities in the implementation of school rehabilitation and renovation work at the Ministry of PUPR, Director General of Human Settlements of BPPW NTT, Satker Implementation of Regional I Infrastructure for NTT Province for Fiscal Year 2021 in accordance with the Investigation Order of the Head of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office Number: Print-10/N.3/Fd.1/01/2025 dated January 10, 2025.

The documents that have been confiscated by the investigative team will be further research and development.

The NTT High Prosecutor's Office is committed to completing the investigation of this case by upholding the principles of transparency and accountability.

Previously, on Thursday (16/1), the ceiling of the school in Kupang City, namely SDI Oesapa, collapsed while teaching and learning activities (KBM) were being carried out, resulting in several students suffering minor injuries.

Schools in Naioni Village and in Kupang Regency also experienced the same thing.

Even though the schools have only been completed in 2022 using the 2021 budget.
