JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Pantas Nainggolan, admitted that his party would convince all factions in the DKI Jakarta DPRD to support the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno program in leadership in Jakarta in the next 5 years.

Deserve to admit that efforts to realize Pramono-Rano's vision and mission after being inaugurated as Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta are not easy. Because, it must pay attention to the principle of legislative work, namely collegial collectives.

"We must be able to convince other faction members who previously supported other governor candidates to support the efforts of Governor Pramono Anung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno to realize welfare for the people of Jakarta," said Pantas in a discussion on the Kick Off of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Tuesday, January 21.

The flagship programs that will be run by Pramono-Rano starting from the target of Jakarta being included in 50 global cities, rental houses on government-owned land or buildings, giant mangrove wall, expansion of Transjakarta to buffer areas, parks and rides, to other social welfare programs.

Since the campaign period, Pramono-Rano has ensured that the KJP Plus program continues without reducing the number of recipients who really need it.

Currently, PDIP is targeting to continue to oversee KJP for 105,225 students and the Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) in 735 students who were revoked during phase II verification in 2024 until they are recovered.

"Through Commission E, we have struggled to restore the rights of residents whose KJP and KJMU have been decided to be reactivated in Phase I 2025. This was done after the PDI-P held a direct dialogue with a number of students' parents," said Pantas.

This education program is correlated with efforts to promote equitable education in Jakarta and help children from underprivileged families through free private school programs that involve 2,900 private schools in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, in dealing with waste, the PDI-P encourages the construction of RDF Plant in Rorotan which has a waste processing capacity of up to 2,500 tons of waste per day and will process waste from 16 sub-districts in Jakarta.

According to him, the RDF project has zero pollution and adds to regional revenue through the resulting alternative fuels.

"Besides the pollution 0 and he can produce he can provide better income and he might be able to overcome the garbage mountains that are now in Bantar gebang," Pantas explained.

In addition to being able to process new waste, Pantas continued, RDF PLant can also be operated to process old waste which is currently a mountain of garbage at the Bantar gebang TPST.

"Because now we have done processing new waste and at the same time processing old waste. Now, maybe later we will try to encourage it so that it can be realized in 5 city areas so that the traffic does not cause no contribution to congestion or to the resulting emissions, not to pollute our air," he added.
