The South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Victor Inkiriwang, explained that the suspect had long observed the location and knew the work schedule of employees at the gas station.

Victor added that before carrying out the robbery, the suspect had conducted a survey at the gas station for a week, precisely on December 23, 2024, to find out the employee's work schedule on New Year's Eve.
"The perpetrator prepared well, he conducted a week-long survey to ensure the right time to take action," explained the Police Chief.
In the end, the perpetrator managed to rob Rp60 million in cash at the Shell gas station. Not only that, he also took the cellphone belonging to the employee who witnessed the action.
Fortunately, the police were able to uncover this robbery and managed to arrest Imam Akbar on Thursday, January 9, 2025, when the perpetrator was returning from work in the Bintaro area.
