Arrest Perpetrators Of Stabbing At SBB Maluku, Police Suspected Revenge

MALUKU - Police arrested the perpetrator of the stabbing of the victim with the initials AAM alias Ajis, a young man from Tomalehu Village, West Seram Regency (SBB), Maluku.

"The alleged perpetrator has been secured to the police headquarters and under investigation. The victim suffered lacerations to the back of the neck, lacerations to the upper right chest, cuts to the right chest and right side abdomen," SBB Police Chief AKBP Dennie Andreas Dharmawan, Ambon, Friday, January 17, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the stabbing incident occurred in Hualoy Village, at around 02.30 WIT on Friday morning. Temporary suspicion due to personal revenge between the perpetrator and the victim.

The police chief said that his party was still conducting an investigation to reveal the motive behind the incident.

He also appealed to the people of Hualoy and Tomalehu villages, East Kairatu District to remain calm and maintain the situation and security conditions in the area.

"Trust us, because this is purely a criminal case. We will investigate it thoroughly. The public is also expected to remain calm and not be easily provoked," asked the Police Chief.

He emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully and prioritizing dialogue in dealing with differences or disputes.

I hope this incident will be a lesson for all of us to be wiser in dealing with problems. Let's avoid violence and find solutions with a cool head. If there is a conflict, take advantage of community leaders or village officials to help mediate," he hoped.
