Officers Find 2 Burned Bodies On The 8th Floor Of Glodok Plaza Mall: Total Becomes 3 Bodies

The joint team again found and evacuated two other bodies from the 8th floor of Glodok Plaza Mall, Tamansari District, West Jakarta on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

"At 16.20 WIB, two victims were found on the 8th floor dead," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Isnawa Adji when confirmed, Thursday, January 16.

The two bodies of the victim were then evacuated using a body bag and carried by an ambulance. "The two victims have been successfully evacuated using the Parks Service blackstop unit to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital," he said.

In the fire incident at Glodok Plaza Mall, 8 residents were reported missing to the complaint post.

The eight residents were named Aulia Belinda (28) a woman, Osima Yukari (25) a woman, Deri Sauri (25) a boy, Aldrina Indreswari (29) a woman, Ade Aryti (29) a woman, Shinta Amelia (20) a woman, Indira Seviana Bela (25) a woman and Keren ROOM (21) a woman.

Previously, it was reported that one resident was found dead in a fire incident at Glodok Plaza Mall on the 7th and 9th floors in the Tamansari District, West Jakarta. The victim was found on the 8th floor of the Glodok Plaza building.

Head of Operations for West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifuddin, said that his party had temporarily found the victim dead. "Our members in the field found one victim. It just cannot be identified because their condition cannot be recognized," he said, Thursday, January 16, 2025.
