Eddy Soeparno: Retreating Regional Heads Becomes A Synergy Step To Pursue 8 Percent Economic Growth

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI from the PAN faction, Eddy Soeparno, assessed that the implementation of treatment or briefing for regional heads was chosen as a strategic momentum for the central and regional governments to work together in pursuing the economic growth target of 8 percent.

According to Eddy, President Prabowo's initiative is very important to strengthen cross-regional cooperation, even though regional heads come from different political parties.

Development policies ranging from central, provincial, to district/city must go hand in hand and support each other. We have to remember, why the politics end, administration begins. The presidential and regional elections have been completed, and this treatment is a step to ensure that national interests are always above the interests of groups or individuals," said Eddy on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The Deputy Chairperson of PAN added that to achieve the target of 8 percent economic growth, a full synergy is needed between the central and regional governments.

"President Prabowo on various occasions has emphasized the importance of prioritizing the interests of the people. This message must reach all regional heads without exception," said Eddy.

In addition to equalizing perceptions, this treatment also aims to accelerate steps in achieving the ideals of Indonesia Gold 2045. Eddy reminded that if there is no cohesiveness, the potential for a demographic bonus owned by Indonesia will be difficult to utilize optimally.

"In this case, the equalization of perceptions, steps, and speeds of running together between President Prabowo and regional heads is very important. Therefore, I view this treatment as a strategic step in preparing Indonesia for the era of Indonesia Emas 2045," concluded Eddy Soeparno.
