Prabowo To Hold Retreatment For Elected Regional Head, Gerindra: Simultaneous Vision With Government Program

JAKARTA - Gerindra Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad confirmed President Prabowo Subianto's plan to hold a retreat or briefing to elected regional heads. This activity was carried out to equalize the vision of regional heads with the Prabowo-Gibran government program.

"What I heard was that there was a plan like that. Of course, this idea was to how to equalize the vision of newly elected regional heads and then carry out the central government program evenly for the good of the people in the regions," said Dasco, Monday, January 13.

In addition, said Dasco, this retreat activity is also intended to build cohesiveness so that there is synergy between regions. Because according to him, these elected regional heads are supported by different parties.

"And I think this spirit, spirit of cohesiveness, spirit of unity. We both know that the elected regional heads come from different parties, so it is necessary in one activity that I hear conveyed the vision and mission and the spirit of unity," said the Deputy Speaker of the DPR.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra revealed that President Prabowo Subianto planned to hold a retreat by collecting all elected regional heads from the 2024 Pilkada. However, he has not revealed when the regional head's retreat will be held and where it is located.

"The President's wish is that all regional heads will be collected as before. Ministers, deputy ministers and heads of agencies are gathered in Magelang," said Yusril at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday, January 10.

"Moreover, now that it is related to the area, there must be synchronization between the center and the regions, the central government program so that local governments are also implemented," he continued.
