A member of the Kuta Police, Bali, Aiptu INS, is suspected of being involved in a criminal act of embezzlement of rental cars. This news went viral on TikTok with an account called @mata.polisi.

The case of car embezzlement allegedly involved members of the Kuta Police and allegedly deliberately lost a rental car.

In addition, according to the upload, some time the alleged embezzled car was found in the parking lot of one of the campuses in Denpasar, Bali.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that Aiptu INS was undergoing an examination in the Professional and Security Sector (Propam) of the Bali Police.

"It is still being processed at Propam. The truth is still being investigated and while we are not following up on the truth," said Kombes Jansen, Monday, January 13.

If violations are found, they will certainly be processed according to the professional code of ethics.

"Certainly (acted), the law related to the police, especially the professional code of ethics, will be carried out and this is still a process and deepening," he added.

The police are currently still investigating the statements of witnesses regarding the alleged extortion committed by Aiptu INS.
