JAKARTA - The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) proposes an assessment system in the form of ratings or ratings for each kitchen of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) for the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) for service improvement.
"The rating can use the 1-5 highest scale," said Vice Presidential Chief of Staff M. Qodari in a statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 11.
He said the range of value that can be given by beneficiaries starts from adjusting the food menu to local tastes, clean and hygienic kitchens, to innovation in waste management.
"The point is that later there will be an assessment, there can be a score from each SPPG, if it's 5, that means that's the expected standard," he said.
In his statement, Qodari appreciated the Pulogebang SPPG unit which is now producing 3,496 servings to be distributed in 13 schools and seven integrated service posts (posyandu) in the Cakung District, East Jakarta.
During his visit to the location on Friday (10/1), M. Qodari saw firsthand the storage space for raw materials, kitchens, packaging rooms, food storage space before being distributed to the room for washing eating utensils (ompreng).
He said a number of workers were also seen packing foods that had been cooked and put in a special box.
According to M. Qodari, his presence at the SPPG kitchen location was a follow-up to the visit of the MBG Program some time ago at SDN Pulogebang 06 and 07, Cakung, East Jakarta.
Qodari was impressed and appreciated the atmosphere and quality of the SPPG kitchen which was clean, neat, and equipped with modern equipment.
To maintain cleanliness, before entering the room everyone is required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes head coverings and masks.

"Alhamdulillah, we saw that the kitchen was good, clean, the tools were modern, the SOP was visible," he said.
On that occasion Qodari also tasted one of the menus, namely dori fish which he considered to have a special taste.
"The fish dori is good, the fish is fresh, soft, because dori fish has a soft characteristic, but in terms of taste it is not inferior to the restaurant," he said.
