Thirteen Cuban soldiers disappeared after an explosion rocked an arsenal and ammunition in the eastern province of Holguin.
The explosion rocked rural areas of Melones, 724 km south and east of Havana, Tuesday, January 7 morning. Officials said the explosion was triggered by a fire at the construction site.
The incident is still under investigation, authorities said.
The Cuban military reported four officers and nine soldiers were among those missing.
