He said heavy rain accompanied by strong winds also damaged 32 houses in the Semoyang Village area, East Praya District, but there were no casualties in the hydrometeorological disaster.
"There were two residents who suffered fractures due to being hit by the roof of the house which was damaged by a tornado," he said.
"A number of houses were also flooded, but the current conditions are normal," he added.
For logistical assistance, community needs have been given directly after the incident such as ready-to-eat food and other necessities.
"We have provided emergency assistance," he said.
Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the opportunity for potential rain in early 2025 in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province was still high.
