Kim Jong Un Says Happy Year To Putin, Yakin 'Coalisi' Defeat Neo-Nazisme

JAKARTA - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un promised to strengthen his country's strategic partnership with Russia in his letter to President Vladimir Putin.

In the message, Kim conveyed New Year's greetings to Putin and all Russian citizens, including their troops, and expressed his willingness to further improve bilateral relations through new projects.

Reported by Reuters from KCNA, Tuesday, December 31, Kim hopes that the New Year 2025 will be recorded as the first year of victory in the 21st century, when the army and people of Russia beat neo-Nazism and won a big victory.

Kim and Putin signed a joint defense agreement at a summit in June 2024, calling on each side to help each other in the event of an armed attack.

North Korea has since sent tens of thousands of troops to Russia to support its war against Ukraine, and Seoul and Washington say more than a thousand of them have been killed or injured.
