Dozens of gazebo saung on the southern coast of Lebak Regency, Banten, collapsed by a tornado, Monday (30/12) in the early hours of the morning.

"We have as many as 11 gazebo saung collapsed in a tornado," said Fuja Faisal, a owner of southern tourism at Pantai Indah Seyun in Cihara District, Lebak Regency, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 30.

"We suffered losses of up to tens of millions of rupiah over the collapse of the saung," said Fuji.

Likewise, the owner of saung on the 2nd bridge of Bayah on the southern coast of Lebak Regency, Ade, said that his saung was affected by a tornado and suffered damage to the roof.

Currently, he is forced to repair the saung gazebo where he sells it, because the new year's turn is getting closer.

"The shark was damaged after being hit by a tornado in the early hours of the morning," said Ade.

Meanwhile, Head of the Lebak Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Febby Rizky Pratama reminded the public to increase awareness and preparedness of hydrometeorological disasters due to extreme weather marked by moderate to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning/lightning.

Hydrometeorological disasters such as floods, landslides, ground movement, tornadoes, high waves and lightning strikes.
