Lanny Jaya Police Member Who Was Attacked By OTK DIEd In Maintenance

JAKARTA - The Papuan Regional Police (Polda) said two members of the Lany Jaya Police were victims of persecution by an unknown person (OTK) on Wednesday (11/12), one of whom named Brigpol Triuyda Ardigantara died on Thursday (12/12).

Now his colleague Aiptu Hidayat has died at the Bhayangkara Jayapura Hospital.

Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, said that Aiptu Hidayat, who was a victim of OTK persecution, died at around 11.10 WIT after receiving intensive medical treatment at Bhayangkara Hospital.

"Previously, Brigpol Triyuda Ardigantara died early Thursday (12/12) and was buried at KMP Abepura, Jayapura," said Benny as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 13.

The body of Aiptu Hidayat as requested by his family was sent to Magetan, Central Java, to be buried in his hometown.

The two victims of police officers were abused by the OTK group on Wednesday (11/12) in Yokibak Village, Nogi District, Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Province, Mountains.

In this fateful incident, he said, OTK carried out the persecution with sharp weapons and confiscated a short-barreled firearm belonging to the Lanny Jaya Police which was carried by Brigpol Triyuda Ardiantara.

Meanwhile, the HS type pistol carried by Aiptu Hidayat was not able to be taken away by them.

"In addition to molesting the two members of the National Police, OTK also shot and injured a civilian namedBasman who is currently being treated at Wamena Hospital," said Kombes Benny.
