KPK Ready To Help Members Of Prabowo Cabinet Who Are Confused In Reporting Wealth

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded members of the Red and White Cabinet commanded by President Prabowo Subianto to immediately submit a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). Assistance is ready to be provided if someone has difficulty carrying out their obligations.

"KPK is open to helping if there are problems in filling it out," said KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Thursday, December 5.

Budi said that currently only 58 percent or 72 of the 124 mandatory reports are carrying out their obligations. This amount is based on data compiled by the Directorate of LHKPN KPK.

He then detailed that of the 52 ministers or heads of institutions at the ministerial level, 36 of them had reported their wealth. While the other 16 have not.

"Then from 57 deputy ministers or deputy heads of institutions at the ministerial level, 30 have reported LHKPN while 27 have not reported yet," said Budi.

Budi said that only six special delegates / special health / special staff had reported their wealth. The other nine have not carried out their obligations, including Raffi Ahmad as the Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Art Workers and Special Envoys of the President for Religious Harmony and Development of Religious Facilities Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or Gus Miftah.

For Raffi Ahmad, Budi said that intense communication had been carried out. However, the submission of LHKPN has not been carried out until now.

"So that as a whole of the total mandatory reports from the Red and White Cabinet, 72 have reported their LHKPN and 52 have not reported yet. This means that 58 percent have reported their LHKPN," he said.

The KPK reminded that the wealth reporting would be carried out immediately. Moreover, they have three months from the time they were sworn in at the end of last October.

"The compliance of the LHKPN is an important instrument as a first step in preventing corruption, through the transparency of the assets of state administrators," concluded Budi.
