Fish Car Robbers Arrested In Tsuci Muara Angke Buddhist Flat

Two car snatchers loaded with salem fish weighing five tons on Jalan Hiu Raya, Muara Baru Port, North Jakarta, were arrested.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Muara Baru Regional Police, Ipda Rionardo, said that the two perpetrators were a male and female couple.

"The two perpetrators, first a man with the initials SH and a woman with the initials CA," said Ipda Rionardo, ANTARA, Thursday, December 5, 2024.

He explained that SH and CA were arrested on Wednesday, December 4 at the Tsuci Muara Angke Buddhist Flat, North Jakarta. Officers immediately took the two to the Muara Baru Regional Police Headquarters for investigation and investigation.

He said this incident began when the US victim asked his employee, a man with the initials BY, to load salmon at PT Gabungan Samudera International on Saturday, November 30, using a truck.

Furthermore, on Sunday morning, December 1 at around 09.30 WIB, the car was already filled with tuna weighing 5,000 kilograms.

Then the US victim asked BY to load fish in the Muara Baru Port area, North Jakarta, at around 10:00 WIB and when the car passed on Hiu Raya Street, Muara Baru Port, North Jakarta, suddenly came from behind the truck, a silver car appeared.

This car stopped the truck BY was carrying and from the silver car three men and one CA woman came out.

"This woman told BY that in the past two days she has not paid her obligations, this car and cargo are hers," said Rionardo, imitating the perpetrator's words.

Then the car and fish cargo were taken, then the US victim received a message which reminded that the third day must be paid and if they are not paid in full, the car and fish will belong to him.

For this incident, the victim suffered a material loss of approximately Rp. 573,000,000 and made a police report.

"We are currently investigating this case and the two perpetrators are already at the Muara Baru Regional Police for investigation," Rionardo explained.
